Hilltoppers vs. Alabama #2 will air on ESPN+

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Softball’s Wednesday game against No. 2 Alabama at the WKU Softball Complex will now air on ESPN+ instead of Facebook Live. A direct link to the stream is available HERE.

The move to the subscription service marks the second time in the past two seasons that the Hilltoppers have had a home game picked up by an outside entity as the 2021 Conference USA Championship aired live on CBS Sports Network. Wednesday’s game will be produced by ESPN.

While Wednesday’s 5:00 p.m. CT contest is sold out in the stadium, fans can still purchase a ticket at the parking lot to view from the open-air building in left field. Tickets are no longer available online and are only available at the door on game day.

Stadium gates will open at 3:30 p.m. CT for fans with tickets already purchased. There will be no reserved seats. Parking will be available in the Creason lot beyond the outfield fence. Spectator parking will not be available in Parking Structure 3, only on the surrounding lot.

Alabama leads the all-time series, 6-0, the most recent meeting being in 2013, before Amy Tudoris back on the program as head coach. Wednesday’s contest will mark the first-ever meeting at Bowling Green.

The 2022 campaign is also the first time the Hilltopper program has hosted two SEC teams in the same season as No. 10 Arkansas visited The Hill on March 21.
