Alstom in Spain launches a new edition of its talent program for university students and recent graduates

MadridAlstomworld leader in smart and green mobility, launched in collaboration with the Fundacion Universidad-Empresa the 10th edition of the Alstom Talent Energy program in Spain.

This program is aimed at both students in the final year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree and young graduates. This initiative combines academic and professional experience to train young talents in the railway sector.

This program, which lasts 6 to 12 months, offers post-graduate training grants and professional internships at Alstom sites in Madrid, Barcelona and Basque Country.

“With this successful program, in which almost 300 graduates have already participated, we offer final year students and recent graduates the opportunity to continue their personal and professional development in a global company such as Alstom, a world leader in sustainable mobility and digital solutions. The promotion of young talents and their professional growth is a strategic pillar for our company,” says Reyes TorresHuman Resources Director of Alstom for Spain and Portugal.

This year, Alstom will integrate 21 trainees in Spain with different academic backgrounds, including industrial engineering, Industrial organization, Digital Transformation, Electrical Engineering or Business Administration and Management, among others. Successful candidates will begin work at the company’s industrial centers in Santa Perpetua (Barcelona) and Trapaga (Basque Country), the world center for railway signaling and safety Madrid or in one of the various centers dedicated to digital services and maintenance.

Successful candidates will be able to combine postgraduate education and practical training in a single program. In addition to paid internships and mentoring, participants of the Alstom Talent Energy program will join the University of Alcala Master 2 “Agile Organizations and Digital Transformation”. All participants will receive a scholarship to carry out this training, while participating in different national or international sustainable mobility projects during their internship.

For this edition of the Alstom Talent Energy program, applications are open until December 23. The program, managed in collaboration with the Fundacion Universidad-Empresa (Universities and Business Foundation), will start from January 2023.
